Many people opt to do day trips here from the big city, but we stayed 3 nights and could’ve stayed longer. Our Airbnb accommodation was stunning! A 2 level treehouse with sitting areas and secret hikes nearby . . We opted to stay a 30 minute walk outside of town to enjoy the nature, and we’re rewarded with monkeys, quetzal birds, private waterfalls and hiking trails. . .

We spent about 6 weeks backpacking around the country while exploring hidden ruins, colonial cities, vibrant seaside towns and some stunning beaches. This adventure-packed country is somewhere you don’t want to miss! ❤️ . . In less than 2 weeks, we’re heading back to this part of the world, but this time we’ll be travelling around Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia for 3 months! We cannot wait to lace up our hiking boots, strap on our backpacks and hit the road ✈️ . .

All of our people experiences have been very positive - from strangers in the street and our Uber drivers, to staff at restaurants and our Airbnb Host. Thanks for the welcome Miami . .
